Fresh Produce Ready

We now have fresh produce. Come and gather your own onions, lettuce and spinach. You cannot get any fresher. I hope you can see the freshness in the pictures.

We have been talking about our new Western wagon. Last Saturday we went to Jacksboro, Texas, and picked it up. It will help us offer additional products to our clientele. We continue to serve homemade ice cream in downtown Tolar.

We recently planted cantaloupe, corn, and green beans. As soon as possible we will plant watermelon, black-eyed peas, okra, and pumpkins. Our tomatoes, herbs and squash are growing and gaining energy.

We look forward to the apricots being ready sometime around the middle of May to the first of June. All the fruit is looking good right now. We managed to escape any damage from the last freeze, but remember, we only know for sure there is a crop when it is in the basket!
